This versatile top dresser is a multi-purpose, motorized applicator built for the professionals. It can spread many types of soil mixes with ease, including top soil, compost, organic fertilizers, lime and sand.
It was designed in 1995 to respond to the needs of new technologies and best practices in the horticultural services industry.
Save time, reduce labour and operating costs. At the design level this top dresser is based on mechanical systems drawn from larger top dressers that are used on sports fields. Thanks to a stable wheelbase and swivel rear wheel, it is easy to control: making 90 and 180 degree turns around obstacles. At 34 inches wide, it is suited for both residential and commercial use.
At the bottom of the hopper, a conveyor transports the product to an agitator which breaks up the product as required. The product is then sent to an adjustable feeding trap and falls onto the rotary disk that evenly spreads the product onto the ground.
It is the combination of these systems that allows for the spreading of both wet and dry products.
